Import Creations..For those who do it themselves.
I've been in the foreign import scene in Hartford, CT deeply for quite a few years now. Recently I joined a fresh car club called Foreign Dreams. My first car was a sentra 1.6 which I blew the engine on in a matter of weeks and had it replaced by the potent 2.0 liter 140 hp Se-r. PURE SLEEPER. I've done many mods and custom work and I know about anything from SERious sound sytems to interior customizing and coloring, to turbos and what not. Any questions u have about sentras Nissans, or audio, I should be able to answer. This page will have it all plus reviews on new imports and other info sure to SERiously please anyone in this scene.
Efficient Simple Mods
First off disconnect the belt pulley attached to the AC compressor or take out the AC compressor. it weighs too much and u can gain a little more power when the engine doesnt have to turn that extra belt. increases gas mileage too. racers dont need AC thats what windows are for :)

cold air intake..short rams suck in hot air and thats not good, cold air is more dense therefor carrying more Oxygen molecules which mean more combustion and more HP. cold air intakes are usually right behind the bumper, they may be a little time consuming to install but worth it. AEM and ICEman makes some of the best, go on ebay and get one. CAI's usually increase 5-10hp and add a deep throaty sound.
Headers... DC Sports,Greddy, neuspeed, and Pacesetter make them into a 4-2-1 pattern. headers come right off the engines cylinders, and they expell the burnt gas. bigger bored headers allow for faster release of carbon gas out of your head so new air can come in and burn faster, making the whole combustion cycle much more efficient. headers usually increase about 10-15 hp

Catback system..this is the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter back to the muffler. the faster the exhaust out the cleaner and more fluid your engine goes through combustion. Most 4cylinder imports got a 2.5" pipe upgrading to a 3" will make a pretty big improvement. Take into account one of newtons laws, for every action theres an equal opposite reaction... so if the gas expells out the exhaust faster the car can move forward faster.. get it.. ok i didnt think so. HAHA expect about 10 to 15 HP

Ignition...iridium spark plugs are the best bet along with some new spark plug wires, preferably morosso, neuspeed or even NGK, anything thicker then 8mm is fine. these send the spark for combustion so the thicker the wire the greater the spark energy. iridium is mad strong and burns O2 extrememly efficiently so you improve gas mileage too. hook up to an msd ignition system and modified distributor cap and your engine will purr. a few HP gains but engine runs a lot more smoother and very responsive, along with an increase in gas mileage. my car is a 91 and runs just as well as any year 2000 vehicle

My first BABE..91 Sentra, loved this car!

The countless hours and money i put into this car...waking up at the wee early morning to install the part I just got the day before. Tuning the system, customizing the interior and outside ground kit and what not. This car ran on 15 inch rims, true 4cylinder race cars dont roll on 18's and have spoilers bigger and higher then the rear windshield. My car was pure undercover...no markings or stickers or any of that other rice boy crap! The exhaust had a point, and it didnt make a whiny sound like a 20 year old moped. Click on this logo to go to where i got mad parts. they have anything u want for good prices too.

NOS oh yes babe!!!
Nitrous oxide is adrenalin in the gas tank pure and simple. its combustion ignites crazyness in the cylinder heads. Nos can be dangerous in terms of your engine can blow if too much is injected into the cylinder heads due to the intense pressure and strain on the pistons. I recommend the new ZEX systems. they are controlled by a CPU unit and control themsleves. installation is a cinch. Once the switch is flipped and activated it inserts Nos when your car reaches max throttle so it conserves nos until u really need it. The system is great, very easy to use and very reliable. retail about 500 to 600 for vehicle specific apps. a 50 to 75 shot of Nos is fine for a car well maintained and tuned up a little. anything over a 100 shot is for the big boys whose cars wont leave the bodyframe at the starting line. Nos can give u an instant 50 Hp increase in most simple apps. great for the everyday street dragger.

Turbos vs. Superchargers: simplified explanation
Turbos take exhaust gas from the headers and spool it up cool it via an intercooler and shoot it back into the cylinder head. here u are gaining power because the exhuast fumes are used up again and make way for more air. the t3/t4 turbos are the ones on the market to look for. these can be tuned up to 20psi for engines that can take it. the Psi rating refers to how much pounds of air per square inch is shot back into the cylinders. about 10 to 12 PSi is perfect. Turbos have one major problem, they are freaking expensive. Greddy makes one of the best T3 kits for civics, integras, and eclipses. the kits comes with all u need including wastegates and intercoolers, and even boost gauges to make your interior look STRAIGHT! Turbos can easily add about 75 to 100 hp to any application.
Superchargers are another forced induction system but they need to be attached to your engine via a belt so they help turn the pulleys. They also use exhaust pressure as the turbo does. Jackson racing makes one of the best for a fee of 2500 or so, and if u have a civic SI, vortech has a new technology supercharger for SERious gains these also are about 100+ hp boost.
Downfall of the turbo is that when u first start the car there isnt much exhaust to be spooled up so the turbo goes through what is called turbo lag, which can also occur after hard driving and flooring it because the turbo can't spool up and spit out exhaust that fast and efficiently meaning they are basically useless for a while, until they get some exhaust.
Superchargers on the other hand are always charged up because the engine is using the attached belt to turn the component.
It's your choice, i personally like the turbos. In any case you are going to have to start putting that high octane gas in at all times but its worth it. Who doesn't want a little flame coming out the muffler!!

Blue interior to the B13
Customized my interior myself. Blue metallic spray paint to highlight panels and super gloss to protect. Theres an important process to coloring your interior, email me for help before it looks really bad. basically its wet sand all peices, spray with primer then add a few coats of colored paint, let dry adn then a couple coats of high gloss. My gauges are white and blue split ying yang design gauges courtesy for free by import intelligence, black and blue seats, and blue interior neon lights by streetglow. Also blue racing pedals, blue nissan seat belt pads and steering wheel. And my phat Pioneer DEH 7300 with the screensavers.
